How to enable ActiveX
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer (SP2) displays an Information Bar (top of the web page just below the address bar) with information about downloads and blocked content such as pop-up windows, JavaScript, applets and ActiveX plugins. This information helps to avoid potentially harmful files that you might otherwise accept from the Internet. After updating to SP2 the settings will be set for the highest security possible, so you will need to adjust your security settings.
ArtistScope (Copysafe), like Macromedia (Flash) and Microsoft, sign their plugins and installers with a digital certificate known as Authenticode. Authenticode certificates validate the identity of software developers via top level authorities such as Thawte and Verisign. They can be applied by the software's owner only and can be trusted.
