HOW DOES THE LSAT 170+ SCORE OR +10 POINT INCREASE GUARANTEE WORK?

This guarantee is limited to first-time Kaplan students enrolled in our 170+ LSAT Course or Premium Tutoring plus the bundled Live Online course.

  • If your baseline exam is 160+, we will guarantee a minimum score of 170 on the actual LSAT exam (provided you complete “the work”).
  • If your baseline exam is under 160, we will guarantee a 10+ point score improvement on the actual LSAT (e.g., starting with a 150, you would be guaranteed a 160 or higher) (provided you complete “the work”).
  • You have a minimum of 2 months to utilize the resources and to complete all of “the work” in this program before test day.
  • You must take the official LSAT exam within 60 days of your last Live Online class session to be eligible.
  • Within 60 days of your Kaplan program expiration date, you must log in to your Kaplan account and contact Kaplan via the Support tab or chat to provide your official test score report.

If you purchased the LawHub Advantage subscription directly through Kaplan, you are not eligible for a refund on that subscription in our money-back guarantee.

What Do We Mean by the Recommended Work?

  • You must enroll in the bundled  Live Online course to complement tutoring hours.
  • You must submit an established baseline score. This score can be obtained from either your assigned diagnostic LawHub test while in exam mode or from a previous official test score from the LSAC. This submission should be made prior to your first tutoring session or your second Live Online session.
  • You are required to complete 9 full-length practice exams in the LawHub platform with the required timing and testing conditions that will be required of you by the LSAC. That means prior to completing any of the practice exams, select the exam test taking mode applicable to you.. If you are not going to take the practice exams under the required timed mode and wish that Kaplan consider approved timing accommodations from LSAC to meet this component of the Guarantee requirements, you may send us a copy of the LSAC notice granting you additional time prior to your course expiration.
  • An official LSAT score submission must include your full name and test date, and it cannot be more than 6 months old.
  • You must have an active LawHub Advantage subscription during the entirety of the program.
  • You are required  to complete 9 full-length practice exams in the LawHub platform, using the exam test taking mode, following the official timing of the LSAT exam.
  • Only work completed in LawHub after your Kaplan enrollment will be counted toward the 170+ Score Guarantee.
  • You must utilize all purchased tutoring hours from your respective package.
  • No makeup sessions are permitted as students need to attend their course sessions and tutoring sessions live.
  • You can only switch classes once to be eligible for the Guarantee.
  • Required coursework must be fully completed before you take the official LSAT.
  • You must complete the following in addition to the above:

Premium Tutoring

Complete all work under Core Lessons, which includes the following:

  • 49 Videos
  • 44 Interactive Practice modules
  • 17 Perform quizzes
  • 9 Review quizzes

Additionally complete:

  • All 44 of the Mastery Assignments
  • 9 timing section assignments
  • Attend all 12 Live Online class sessions included in the Premium Tutoring package and any assigned before- or after-class homework assignments
  • All 45 Storyline Asset requirements

170+ LSAT Course

Complete all work under Core Lessons, which includes the following:

  • 49 Videos
  • 44 Interactive Practice modules
  • 17 Perform quizzes
  • 9 Review quizzes

Additionally complete:

  • All 40 of the Mastery Assignments
  • Attend all 60 hours of live lessons
  • 9 timing section assignments
  • Attend all 35 scheduled live online class sessions, which include the 6 hours of small group tutoring sessions, and the four live full-length proctored tests.
  • All 45 Storyline Asset requirements
  • Must have at least 60 days to complete this course from the class start date.

Didn’t Score a 170+ or Increase Your Baseline by +10 Points?

If you complete the program and put in the recommended work, take the official test within 60 days, and your score on test day is not 170+ OR 10+ points higher depending on your baseline exam, you have one of two options:

  1. Free re-enrollment: you can contact Kaplan within 60 days of your Kaplan program expiration date and ask to continue your studies and we’ll re-enroll you in 10 hours of Premium Tutoring and 4 months of access to a Live Online LSAT prep course for a repeat of your original course enrollment, completely free.
  2. Money back: you can request your money back.

If you choose free reactivation/re-enrollment and you need more time after that, you can extend your access by purchasing more time. If you choose free reactivation/re-enrollment, you are no longer eligible to receive your money back.

Note: Exam mode practice test must be taken in a test-like condition and timing.
